Green Schools Initiative Out & About: Recent workshops, briefings, and educational events
Questions we get asked the most are: HOW do I green my school, and how much will it COST to green my school? In our trainings, we provide practical tips and examples from schools that are successfully greening. In the slideshows and handouts below, we show pictures, share persuasive statistics, and document cost-savings of schools that are implementing specific changes: green cleaning, green purchasing, wellness and purchasing policies, energy conservation, waste reduction and more. We are reaching out and educating all kinds of school audiences: facility directors, legislators, school board members, teachers, parents, and students. So, take a moment and download any of these workshop materials and use them to persuade people in your own school to "go green!"
